About
A Jackson Tradition Since 1934
For over 90 years, generations of families, homeowners, and local businesses have counted on Jackson Glass Works for quality craftsmanship and dependable service. We're proud to continue the family tradition that began right here in Jackson.
Our Story
In 1934, Lloyd MacCready founded Jackson Glass, establishing a family business built on hard work, quality craftsmanship, and service to the local community.
That tradition continued when Lloyd's grandson, Jay MacCready, joined the family business in 1994. Today, Jay owns and operates Jackson Glass Works, overseeing both the auto glass and commercial divisions and carrying forward the values that have guided the company for generations.
In 2001, Jackson Glass Works moved from Louis Glick Highway to its current home at 555 S Cooper St in downtown Jackson, Michigan. From our downtown location, we continue to serve families, homeowners, contractors, and local businesses throughout Jackson and the surrounding areas.
